We are looking for two people to work on “Casting the Net”, a joint project with Clyde Fishermen’s Association

Casting the Net is a partnership project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund which aims to celebrate the achievements and stories from the Ring Net fishery, concentrated in the west of Scotland, alongside the fishermen, families and communities involved in this industry. The project will collect oral histories from individuals related to the fishing industry, and explore and promote this through:

the acquisition of a new mobile, community hub

launch of a new public digital platform to share stories and images

a public engagement programme with an artist in residence

a touring exhibition of the ringnet related artworks and artefacts

We are currently recruiting a Project Officer and Website Developer. Full job descriptions and details of how to apply are available from the Clydefish website at https://www.clydefish.com/vacancies
