Here visitors can learn about the methods of construction of wooden boats and see a selection of the sorts of tools used. Photographs chart the stages of building a boat from selecting the timber, laying the keel, adding frames and planking to decking and finishing off. From time to time our volunteers can be seen working in our covered boatshed.
