Lifeboat Laboratory (S1-S3)

There’s a science to saving lives at sea.

In this session, students will discover how the RNLI has developed over the last 200 years and how technological advances have contributed to the saving of lives at sea. They will encounter the inventors and innovations that have contributed to improved water safety and investigate key boat-related concepts such as buoyancy and hull design.
