Scottish Fisheries Museum - telling the history of fishing in Scotland through the years.

Tour of the Museum

Since the Museum was opened in 1969 it has grown in size and in the range of its galleries. In addition to the original courtyard, we now have a covered boatyard and, from April 2000, a gallery housing our largest vessel, a 78 foot Zulu. Thanks to major restructuring, it can open its doors to disabled visitors too: a series of ramps allow wheelchair access to virtually every part of the buildings.

By clicking on each of the numbered sections below, you will be given a brief description of the exhibition and galleries, providing you with a taster of what you can expect to see on your visit to the Scottish Fisheries Museum.
