Merchant's Room : East Neuk Life. Not Now, But Then

We’re delighted to welcome, for the first time, artist Iain Green to our Merchant’s Room gallery for an exhibition this July,
‘East Neuk Life. Not Now, But Then’ features a selection of illustrations capturing life here in the past. In a former life Iain worked as a political cartoonist for various national newspapers including Punch, The Scotsman, The Guardian and The Aberdeen Press and Journal.
Disillusioned with modern life, he enjoys listening to memories of and daydreaming about (through some very rose-tinted glasses!) what life was like in the ‘good old days’ before cars, TV, phones and Social Media blocked it all out!
