This model was created in 2016 from a photogrammetric survey of the Reaper completed by Ben Saunders of Wessex Archaeology Scotland.

In preparing a Conservation Management Plan for the vessel, Wessex Archaeology visited Mackays Boatbuilders, Arbroath when the Fifie class sailing herring drifter was on the slip having repairs completed to her hull.

The 3D model of the Reaper demonstrates the vessel’s shape and lines, as well as identifying areas of twist in the hull. The survey contributed to the planning of the subsequent major Conservation Project which took place 2017 - 21.
