The 2018 Buckland Lecture will be held as follows:

  • Thurs, 25 Oct 2018 at Scottish Freshwater Group, University of Stirling, time TBA.

  • Thurs, 1 Nov 2018 at the University of St Andrews, 4:30pm for 5pm, Lecture Room 3/4, The Gateway, St Andrews, KY16 9RS.

  • Thurs, 15 Nov 2018 at the AGM of the Welsh IFM, Cardiff.

  • Tues, 20 Nov 2018 at UCD Science Hub, University College Dublin (see Buckland Lecture poster for details)

  • 14 June 2019 at Marine Scotland Science, Freshwater Fisheries Laboratory Open Day, Atholl Palace, Pitlochry.

“The evolution of science and management of wild Atlantic salmon: past, present and future”

It will be given by the 2018 Buckland Professor of Fisheries, Dr Ronald Campbell, Tweed Foundation, who will be supported by Dr John Armstrong, of the Freshwater Fisheries Laboratory and a Trustee of the Buckland Foundation.
